With only so much holiday time during the working year, I wanted to go to somewhere new, exciting and worth it. I have around 4 weeks a year to dust off my hiking boots and travel somewhere new; I want it to be well worth it.
I’ve done my research and I’ve come up with the following 5 options for where the best locations for travel are. So ignore London, Paris, New York and Rome, check out the locations below.
1. Patagonia, Chile
Unique with a hearty charm, Chile is often overlooked but is well worth your time and money. Check out Patagonia during the tourist off season and venture off the track into the wild.
Oman is not a popular tourist destination; I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone mentioning they’re ‘holidaying in Oman’.
Oman is The Middle East, it’s one of the safest countries to experience the culture, traditions and scenery.
3. The Philippines
Beautiful old buildings and rich culture. The Philippines is a fantastic way to spend a few weeks.
Nicaragua is within Central America and could be likened to Costa Rica. This is an extremely beautiful, affordable and engaging country which is quickly becoming a tourist hot spot.
Go visit before it’s overrun.
Hot air balloons, markets, spices and extremely friendly people; this isnt even scratching the surface of what Turkey has to offer. Go visit Turkey, hire a car and spend a week or two driving down the East Coast. Stop at each city and along the way and just explore.
